The ICTQual Level 8 Professional Diploma in Health, Safety and Environmental Engineering is an advanced professional qualification designed for experienced HSE professionals, safety practitioners, engineers, managers and technical specialists. It develops advanced knowledge and professional competence in health and safety management, environmental management, occupational health, industrial hygiene, fire safety, emergency management, risk engineering, safety mathematics and HSE research. The qualification comprises 10 mandatory units, 180 credits, 900 Guided Learning Hours (GLH) and 1,800 Total Qualification Time (TQT).

Applicants should normally hold a Level 7 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering or a closely related discipline, or a relevant Master’s degree. Submitted work is assessed against the relevant learning outcomes and assessment criteria, with feedback and Internal Quality Assurance procedures applied as appropriate.
