BCSP Qualified Equivalent Program (QEP) Pathway
The Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) has approved the ICTQual AB Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Engineering under the Qualified Equivalent Program (QEP) pathway. The qualification is recognised as a QEP programme that provides an established pathway towards the Transitional Safety Practitioner® (TSP®) designation.
Learners who have successfully completed, or are currently studying, the ICTQual AB Level 6 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Engineering may be eligible to apply for the Transitional Safety Practitioner® (TSP®) designation once the qualification is formally included on the BCSP Qualified Equivalent Program (QEP) List and the applicable eligibility period begins.
Eligibility to apply for the TSP® designation will be subject to the official BCSP QEP listing, applicable dates and the BCSP requirements in effect at the time of application. BCSP states that individuals holding a credential from a Qualified Equivalent Program may apply for the TSP® designation within the programme’s specified Applicable Dates.
